The Grafham Sewing Bee meet in Grafham Village Hall (Grafham, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 0BG), each Wednesday between 2pm and 4pm.
The sewing group is aimed at those who enjoy needlework of any sort - quilting, tapestry, knitting, crochet or anything else that requires the use of needles! Complete beginners, to those who sew on a regular basis, are all welcome. Our purpose is three-fold:
We also occasionally have trips to visit needlework exhibitions. Such trips are organised on an individual basis, without the need for anyone to commit, if they do not wish to do so. Most of us come from areas outside of Grafham, so anyone coming from the surrounding area or are only here on holiday will be welcome. A small charge (normally £2 for regular attendees or £2.50 for those who only wish to attend occasionally) is requested to cover the cost of hall hire, tea, coffee and biscuits. |
